Herbal Medicine

Herbs have always been integral to the practice of medicine. The word drug comes from the old Dutch word drogge meaning "to dry," as pharmacists, physicians, and ancient healers often dried plants for use as medicines. Today approximately 25 percent of all prescription drugs are still derived from trees, shrubs, or herbs.1 Some are made from plant extracts; others are synthesized to mimic a natural plant compound

Namaste

I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells.
I honor the place in you which is of love, of truth, of light,
and of peace. When you are in that place in you,
and I am in that place in me,
We are One.
